This one is a dedication to djdonttouchthetrim on DeviantArt who brought up the very relevant point about how there is a huge lack of diversity in traditional pin-up art.
I have tried in the past to do more pieces using darker skinned models, but because of how I do post work, the skin tones were always turning out either too dark and washed out or too orange when viewed on different monitors, so it has been a lot of trial and error finding something I was happy with.
I finally found an awesome combination using Swilly by Fabiana and her awesome light sets. This is an amazing model and there will definitely be more coming. Very versatile with amazing skin tones.
I call this one Natural Beauty because I’ve always loved the naturally curly, big hair look. I’ve also been watching a lot of World Cup soccer matches and all the footage of the beaches in Brazil are filled with beautiful, curly haired brazilian women, so that’s been an inspiration lately as well.
